For Day 97, we transitioned from s’more ratios to moles ratios with one of my favorite problem solving tools, the BCA table. I love BCA tables because they help students see the big picture of a chemical reaction instead of just one part. It is really helpful for students who do not where to start with a stoichiometry problem because all of their information is neatly organized. It also makes it really easy for students to use proportional reasoning instead of plug and chug methods.
